| Hello everyone. I know that things have been chaotic in the first few weeks of school as we all begin to adjust to things that have been coming our way. With all of that said, I have a bit of news for everyone. We will not be going to convention in Georgia this year. There was some complications that you may ask about at our next meeting of the year. Right now it is schedualed for lunch next week on Wednesday. Make sure to attend. Of course you can eat your food first, but once you are done please proceed to the meeting. It will most likely take place in Mr. Elrod's room, though I recommend seeing Elizabeth or one of the board members in order to get your questions answered. AND REMEMBER THIS... just because we aren't going to convention this year, doesn't mean that we will not be doing other fun and exciting things. But you will need to attend the meetings in order to get caught up on all of the information. So I will see everyone on Wednesday!!! In the event that you are unable to attend the first meeting and would like to join, please notify Elizabeth of your reason for not attending so we will know that you have a good reason for not being there. We will not be hunting you down. If you miss a meeting for no good reason, it will be your responsibility to find out what you missed. That way you'll be kept "in the loop." :) -Historian |

| Alright everyone, school starts back up again on August 15th! A few updates for everyone. We will now be taking the bus to convention this year instead of an airplane... Many will be grateful for that, I'm sure. (Myself included.) Our first meeting of the school year does not currently have a date yet. I assure you though, Madam President will inform us all on the date much before we are to meet. Anyone who is interested in joining and is not a member, please consult Elizabeth who will give you information on how to become a part of our exciting club. We do have a meeting once a week at lunch and also another after school from time to time. All things will be covered at the meetings so make sure to attend them. Thankyou all. I hope that you have had a wonderful summer and are looking foward to a productive new school year.

| I'd like to give a farewell to the senoir members of model UN. You all will be greatly missed. I hope you all take away fond memories from UN and carry them with you wherever you decide to go next. Best of love from all of us! Also to the members, the school year may be comming to a close but that doesn't mean UN is done for the year! Again a reminder to everyone that we will be having meetings during the summer to help determine the details of our trip to the convention. Even though it is still a little far from the date, as all of us know it is best to plan things early. Please keep in mind ways that we can raise money. I know no one wants to pay a whole bunch out of their pocket... So if you have any ideas, please tell Madam President ASAP. Thank you. -Historian |
